Daily Rhythm The days are kept spacious to deepen into retreat as you wish; continue practice with meditation, yoga, read, rest, journal, walk, swim and enjoy the peace & quiet of the contemplative life. Bring a journal to remember helpful wisdom tools that will help build spiritual practices into your daily life and keep the retreat alive for years to come. Consultation & therapeutic massage are also available.

For those new to meditation, clear steps are given to enjoy heart based meditation. We offer one-on-one support to guide you to your own inner quiet, peace. The practice lessens mental activity while bringing us closer to our source of peace and love, our spiritual heart. Each day we practice gentleness to ourselves and others, softening our awareness, and honoring our humanness. The days are spent in quiet and contemplation. Before leaving, each retreat provides suggestions about how to continue your retreat in your daily life. Meditation benches, cushions or chairs are provided, or bring your favorite cushion. The meditation periods are a spiritual support and an anchor for your retreat. If you need extra instruction we are here to help.

The quiet helps everyone find our inner sanctuary, that is always present. The gift of silence is having nothing to do, nothing to say, having time to enjoy solitude, being present with a quiet mind. When we are not busy talking, our mind takes a rest. Our heart becomes more available. The silence outside helps us to find the still place inside. This is our retreat, the vast quietude of the heart. A few days of simple peace and we feel new again, more in touch with our essence. Silence is a doorway into our own spirituality and truth.

Individual one-on-one Meditation Guidance As a part of each retreat we provide personal meditation & retreat guidance. This is an opportunity to get the most out of your retreat. You can ask questions, share personal experience, and learn more about meditation. Many guests ask how to create an at home practice or how to continuing to receive the beauty of silence. Learn how to have a direct experience of your spiritual heart. Consultation Additional consultation is available in the afternoons by appointment. Courses Single sessions and 4 week meditation course available.
During the retreat we share Sacred Movement Ritual, a series of 9 contemplations in movement. When practiced in an ongoing way it reveals deeper and deeper truths and supports a life filled with peace and wisdom. Similar to Tai Chi in form, it is based on Yoga Philosophy. Meditative movement is an opportunity to feel spiritual lessons through movement. Walking meditation class also available.
Course: Sacred Movement Ritual is taught as a year long course as well.

In the abundant free time guests continue awareness practices or meditation, read, rest, journal, walk, swim and enjoy the peace & quiet of the contemplative life. This is a time to say yes to nurturing yourself and absorb life's healing essence. Consultations and therapeutic massage are also available.
There are acres and acres to walk on and a beautiful peace pool to practice meditative swimming. You may like to journal, draw, or practice receiving the many gifts of being present in the moment. The kitchen is yours all day to prepare your meals. You are welcome to practice Yoga, Tai Chi or walking meditation.
