Private Consultations are provided during the retreat with one of the available retreat leaders. This is a time where a guest may have a personal issue in their life that they would like some clarity with. It is also an excellent way to bring what you have learned in meditation and retreat into practical daily life situations.

This is where the ongoing presence of peace resides in us all. Therefore, as we include the human heart ~ in all its imperfections ~ in our spiritual practice, its very vulnerability leads us to the deeper heart inside. This deeper heart is our true Self and infinite Heart Awareness.
Each retreat includes a one-on-one meditation dialog session which assists each person to have a direct experience of Infinite Heart Awareness, the Spiritual Heart. Ruth Davis developed this method after 45 years of meditation practice. She calls it the Maha Method for Spiritual Understanding. She spontaneously arrived at what In Indian mysticism calls absorption in the Spiritual Heart and by sharing this approach each person can know this truth for themselves.
This is the constant unchanging source of pure awareness. Once known through personal experience you can be effortlessly aware of your true nature simply by practicing it.
As we learn to let go and soften our mental world's and the holding onto the challenges of daily life, we start to open inwardly. We move from constricted awareness to expanding awareness. We have shifted from the human heart to the spiritual heart, from the mind to infinite heart awareness where we are connected to everyone and everything. Spending time in this non-judgmental and expanding presence heals our human conditioning and brings balance into our daily life.
This balance helps us cope with the ups and downs of life more easily, opens us to our creativity and inner wisdom. We become less reactive and more communicative improving relationships and making choices for our life that come from our heart instead of our head.
