Heartfulness meditation is the practice of bringing awareness back to the heart. This is our sanctuary, our home of love and safety, where every part of us is welcome. The active mind is like a bird flying here and there. Our practice is to invite the bird back to the nest of the welcoming heart inside. Here it can fully rest and let go. Here every part of us is completely held. Something deeper opens inside. We receive the love, purity, sweetness and calm by bringing awareness back to the heart. This is the doorway to the deeper heart, the spiritual heart, where all wisdom, creativity and knowing are waiting patiently for us. It is always with us. It is us.
As we reconnect to this sacred home, the nest of loving presence, the love can come pouring forward into our life. It helps us with our relationships, communication, answers, inner guidance, creativity and much more. It is these qualities that bring balance to our mind and daily activities.
In retreat we practice receiving this presence from within. Restoring our connection to our heart essence is the gift of heartfulness meditation practice.
