At Silent Stay people of all traditions sit together in the beauty of simple peace. For those new to meditation, clear steps are given to enjoy infinite heart awareness and to create an ongoing spiritual practice.
The retreat atmosphere invites us to be fully in the present with a soft heart. Sacred space, silence, meditation, nature, all support us to feel the presence of peace, which is the fruit of the retreat experience. There are two meditation periods each day that all guests attend.
Arrival day: Guests arrive between 3-3:30 pm. For new guests there is an orientation at 4:30 pm. Returning guests may arrive up until 6 pm. Departure day: The retreat ends after morning meditation, check out is 11:30 am.
Prepare your own meals You have access all day to a beautiful and fully equipped kitchen to prepare your meals, a European dining porch, living room with fireplace, terraces, shade trees, lots of indoor & outdoor yoga areas, salt water pool with acres and acres of open space to walk on and enjoy.
5 pm Choose: personal practice time or consultation with teachers.
The days are kept spacious to deepen into retreat as you wish; continue practices heart centered awareness, yoga, read, rest, journal, walk, swim and enjoy the peace & quiet of the contemplative life. This is a time to nurture yourself away from the busy-ness of daily life and to restore inner calm. Energy Healing, Personal Consultations and Therapeutic Massage are also available.
